Chitrangda Singh to play female lead in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s thriller drama Raat Akeli Hai sequel

Actress Chitrangda Singh is all set to star as the leading lady in the intriguing chapter of Netflix’s hit murder mystery, Raat Akeli Hai. While Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen reprising his role as inspector Jatil Yadav, excitement is palpable to witness Chitrangda as the leading actress.

It looks like Chitrangda is going to more than makeuo for her absence.

Chitrangda is known for her best work in films such as Desi Boyz, I, Me Aur Main, Munna Michael, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Gaslight, Khel Khel Mein and more.

About Raat Akeli Hai

Raat Akeli Hai follows a small-town cop who is summoned to investigate the death of an elderly family member. The thriller drama was directed by Honey Trehan and was released on Netflix on 31 July 2020.

On the work front, Chitrangda will be next seen in Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5, it will be released on June 6, 2025. She is also doing Neeraj Pandey’s Netflix series, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be next seen as an antagonist in Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer horror comedy. He also has three romantic comedies in his kitty such as Bole Chudiyaan and Noorani Chehra, and Bhavesh Mandalia’s Lion King.
